This edited volume aims to shed some light on empirical research in Translation Studies and Intercultural Studies. The work contains fifteen articles, but the focus is somewhat broader than empirical research alone. Some of the topics discussed include research into think-aloud protocols, a critical analysis on the use of empirical research in Translation Studies, intercultural rhetoric in translation, court interpreting, translation models and other issues.
