This book offers a descriptive study of the two major audiovisual modes: dubbing and subtitling within the context of TV. Emphasis is placed on its practice, and the book works as a handbook of subtitling. Though dubbing is also mentioned as the other chief screen translation mode, it is clear the author has a large experience in subtitling, whose study and process is described in depth.
