Abstract
In this paper, the author aims to consider some basic principles of the structural organization of phraseological thesauruses which can be used in the process of translation. The paper discusses types of dictionary and the process of translation, ideographic dictionaries in the history of lexicography, conceptual (cognitive) phraeseological universals and other issues.
