To translate a sublanguage text, e.g. a scientific text on mechanisms, computers, machine learning, artificial intelligence or mathematics, from English into Russian is to translate not only the text itself, but to transfer information contained in the text in the source language into the receptor language text. The message of this article is to show some peculiarities of the translation of non-neutral lexical units in scientific texts from English into Russian.
