Abstract
Based on a type of poetry known for its hermetic quality such as that of Saint-John Perse, and comparing several Arabic translations, the author shows how the reading of this poetry in its global modulation, that-is-to say in its consonance, and not its words, can result in a translation that preserves this universality introduced by Perse in the syntax rather than the lexis.
