Abstract

In this article, the author retraces the history of interpreting in the USSR, from 1928 until the end of the 1970s. He then presents the two main Russian theoretic approaches of simultaneous interpreting. The author ends by giving some reflections on the possibility of integrating the computer in the interpreting practice.
