This article presents and describes the methods used for the admission of candidates in the interpreting programme at the University of Ottawa. The author explains in a very detailed way each exercise for the selection examination. She then gives some ways to analyse the obtained information to choose the candidates which have the qualities needed to become a conference interpreter.
