Dubbing is undoubtedly one of the most interesting types of translations in the field of linguistic and semiotic experimentation but has a rather dubious social reputation. Several intellectuals, film directors and cineasts have questioned the legitimacy of dubbingt and claim that subtitling respects the integrity of the original work. The author's aim is to discuss the quality and reception of dubbed products in circulation.
