This article focuses on communication strategies and translation. Languages can be considered as strategies used to communicate an experience. Those strategies are different for each language. This means that a translator needs to find a strategy in the target language which permits the communication of the experience of the source language. The author analyses this phenomenon and gives some new ideas on the use of the genitive in Russian.
