Abstract
Objective The study of metaphor cognition in Traditional Chinese Medicine is in the ascendant. To use CiteSpace to visually analyze the related literature of TCM metaphor cognition research, explore the current research status and hot spots in this field, and provide a basis for summarizing existing results and in-depth research. Methods Retrieved CNKI from 1990 to 2021, and analyzed the co-occurrence, clustering and emergent words of the co-occurrence, clustering and emergent words of the author and institution cooperation network through CiteSpace5.6.R5. Results A total of 328 articles were included. In general, the collaborative network of authors represented by scholars such as Jia Chunhua is relatively large, and the main research institutions are concentrated in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Researchers and research institutions are relatively independent, their distribution is looser, and cooperation is less. 1990-2006 was the embryonic period, and the period from 2007 to 2014 was the period of rapid growth. After 2014, the overall research has entered a period of steady development. The research focuses on conceptual metaphor, cognitive science, analogy and so on. In recent years, such as Xiang-thinking, TCM language are the frontier. Conclusion Metaphorical cognition provides a new paradigm for theoretical research in TCM. The metaphorical cognition of TCM based on multidisciplinary research is expected to take shape. In addition, empirical research based on TCM language is more conducive to revealing the characteristics of TCM thinking and TCM logic, and is a possible way for future TCM metaphor cognitive research.
