Abstract

Translators in official services do highly qualified work. But every now and then when errors occur and when setbacks are experienced, this is due to the fact that translators and clients consider the translator’s role as too narrow. One important aspect to improve the quality of the translator’s work, is the dialogue between the author and the translator. In this article, the author brings up some of the following items: blindness within the professional domain, political considerations, errors, strategies, etc.
