Abstract
Studies on translation textbooks have been an important part of translation education research. Using the methods of bibliometrics and content analysis, this paper investigates the development and features of studies on translation textbooks in China over the past forty years. Early studies on translation textbooks are mainly about subjective experience-based reviews of a single translation textbook between English and Chinese, with emphasis on the components of a textbook. Since translation became a major and an independent discipline, studies on translation textbooks have been expanded to external and comprehensive ones; more language pairs between Chinese and foreign languages other than English have been included in textbooks; empirical research methods have been increasingly employed; and theoretical studies have been strengthened. In the era of information technology, it is essential to deepen theoretical studies on translation textbook construction, promote studies on the relationship among textbook construction, classroom teaching, and educational technology, conduct studies on the development of AI-aided translation textbooks, and carry out empirical studies on translation textbook evaluation so as to realize the integration of compilation, application, and evaluation in translation textbook construction.

摘要
翻译教材研究是翻译教育研究的重要组成部分。本文采用文献计量法和内容分析法梳理考察了过去四十年来中国翻译教材研究的发展状况与特点。早期翻译教材研究主要是经验性介绍和描述,主观评价单本英汉互译类翻译教材,聚焦翻译教材内部构成要素。翻译成为一门专业和独立学科之后,翻译教材研究逐步扩展到外部研究和综合研究,翻译语对从英汉扩展到汉语和其他外语语种,实证研究方法应用逐步增多,理论研究日渐增强。在信息技术时代,翻译教材研究应加强教材建设理论研究,注重教材建设与课堂教学、教育技术的关联研究,开展智能化翻译教材研究,推动翻译教材评估实证研究,促进翻译教材编写、使用和评估一体化发展。
