Abstract
Interdisciplinary translation studies have borrowed various research methods from other disciplines, which has greatly enriched the methodological system of the discipline. triangulation is playing an increasingly important role in translation process research and corpus translation research. The rule of “triple evidence” is a special interdisciplinary “triangulation verification”, which combines the research and textual research of traditional Chinese history with the cultural interpretation of western anthropology and folklore. “Triple evidence” (or even “quadruple evidence”) is an expandable methodological resource for translation studies, and it is of constructive significance to introduce it into translation studies, which can be applied to translation history studies, mythological classics, Chinese classics, and ethnic minority classics.
