Meediatõlge, mis on tuntud ka ringhäälingutõlke nime all, on peamiselt massimeedia otseülekannete puhul kasutatav keeleülekande vorm (ka audiovisuaalne tõlge [audiovisual translation] selle laias tähenduses). Meediatõlge kui üks suulise tõlke liike on alates 1980ndaist üha enam pälvinud tõlkeuurijate tähelepanu (nt Kurz 1990), kuid praktika ise ulatub tagasi 1930ndatesse aastatesse, mil sellised tuntud konverentsitõlgid nagu André Kaminker ja Hans Jacob tõlkisid prantsuse raadio otseülekannetes Hitleri kõnesid. Seda – otseülekandes toimuvat sünkroontõlget – peetakse tänaseni meediatõlke prototüübiks, kuigi see tõlkeviis hõlmab ka teisi stsenaariume, viise ja modaalsusi.
