Dans son discours de remerciement au banquet Nobel à Stockholm, le lauréat du prix Nobel de littérature 2012 a rendu hommage à ses traducteurs. Sans eux, a-t-il affirmé, « il n’y aurait pas de littérature mondiale, […] leur travail est un pont qui aide les gens à se comprendre et à se respecter les uns les autres » (Mo Yan 2012 – notre traduction).
