Sisukord

Lugedes artikli pealkirja võib ehk esmalt tekkida küsimus: tõlketeooria mõju millele? Oleks kahtlemata äärmiselt huvitav võtta ette ja uurida tõlketeooria mõju teistele teadusharudele. Ent kuna mitmed teised distsipliinid, nagu näiteks kultuuriuuringud, on juba võtnud kasutusele tõlkimise laiema kontseptsiooni, nn pöörde tõlke poole (translational turn) (Bassnett 1998), ja kuna kogu humanitaariavaldkond üldiselt võtab arvesse nimetatud pööret tõlke poole, siis võib eeldada, et tõlketeoorial, tõlkeuuringutel või tõlkeanalüüsil on olemas teatud mõju maailmale väljaspool tõlketeadust.
