Зміст

Спілкування дедалі частіше відбувається в мережі Інтернет, про що свідчить популярність мобільних медіа-пристроїв, онлайн-програм і платформ. А оскільки переклад – це форма міжкультурної та міжмовної комунікації, то перекладацька діяльність теж перемістилася в мобільний, віртуальний світ. Незважаючи на те, що вивчення взаємозв’язку між всесвітньою мережею та перекладом (Web and translation) стало предметом дослідження ще в 1990-х рр., тобто в часи перших спроб користування Інтернетом (згадаймо хоча б локалізацію (localization) чи краудсорсинг), специфіка цієї широкої галузі досі вимагає подальших досліджень та аналізу, серед них – питання взаємозалежних та складних зв’язків між перекладом та соціальними онлайн-медіа.
