A hangos gondolkodtatás, vagy think-aloud protocol (TAP) a fordítási folyamatok empirikus vizsgálatában alkalmazott kutatási módszer. Ez az adatgyűjtési módszer „hangos gondolkodtatás” mellett „egyidejű verbalizálás” néven is ismert, mely során a vizsgált személynek egy feladat megoldása közben hangosan ki kell mondania minden gondolatát. A verbalizációk jegyzőkönyveit TAP protokollnak nevezik.
