Estudos de Tradução em Portugal. Novos Contributos para a História da Literatura Portuguesa contains an introduction by the editor, Teresa Seruya, and a [ p. 381 ]chronologically organised collection of nineteen case studies, mostly written in Portuguese (with abstracts in English, French or German). As mentioned in the introduction, these papers were originally presented at the colloquium with the same title organised within the framework of the research project “História Literária e Traduções. Representações do Outro na Cultura Portuguesa” [Literary History and Translations. Representations of the Other in Portuguese Culture] carried out at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Lisbon, under supervision of the editor of this volume.
