Table of contents

Traducción subordinada is a two-volume compilation of 24 chapters published by the University of Vigo (Spain) about two modes of audiovisual translation: the first volume (2000) is dedicated to dubbing and the second (2001) to subtitling. At the end of each volume the reader finds useful bibliographical references of audiovisual translation and of recent publications on subtitling and dubbing. The number of pages of each volume—140 pages for dubbing and 253 pages for subtitling—is an indication of the ongoing scholarly preference for the latter.
