The Handbook is aimed at promoting reflection among translator trainers from various backgrounds who plan their translator training programs to help them find methods and content best suited to their aims in their local environment. Its nine chapters take the reader from an introduction to the translator training scene to chapters focusing on specific components of curriculum design and training methods, assessment and trainer training, with ideas, information and questions to help translation teachers analyze their own case and environment.
