目次

通訳研究とは、通訳を研究対象とする学問分野であり、その名称および性質において、翻訳研究と密接に関係している。通訳は本質的に翻訳行為の一形態ととらえられるため、通訳研究を広義の翻訳研究の下に含まれる学問領域と見なすこともできる。同時に、通訳研究は、研究分野の展開および学際的な基盤と多様性により、独立した研究部門としての性格を与えられている。このことは、その理論や方法、またその背景にある実務志向にも表れている。
