Le terme protocole de verbalisation, ou TAP (Think aloud protocol), se réfère à un type de données d'observation utilisées dans la recherche empirique sur les processus de traduction. Les données sont recueillies grâce à la méthode de raisonnement à voix haute ou verbalisation concomitante, qui impose aux sujets de réaliser une tâche et de verbaliser simultanément tout ce qui leur passe par la tête. Les transcriptions écrites de ces verbalisations sont appelées protocoles de verbalisation.
