De quelques effets de l’internationalisation et de la technologisation

Résumé

Le 20ème anniversaire d’une association n’est jamais anodin, à la fois pour la discipline représentée et pour ses agents. En outre, pendant ces 20 ans, la traductologie a tracé un extraordinaire parcours. Nous nous proposons non pas d’articuler les efforts de l’EST et les développements de cette traductologie mais de poser quelques jalons pour mieux envisager le futur.

On peut célébrer un anniversaire, comme l’a fait l’EST (European Society for Translation Studies) à Vienne le 28 septembre 2012, sans verser dans la nostalgie. Au contraire, ce peut être l’occasion de regarder en avant, en ayant appris du passé plus ou moins proche. 20 ans de l’EST : est-ce un signal de détresse ? Un signe de maturité ? Un symbole d’espérance ?
