The names of Susan Bassnett and Andre Lefevere are well known in the field of translation studies, both of them having published influential monographs and articles in that field. The present volume, though, is a sore disappointment; it bears all the marks of a hastily and haphazardly arranged collection that has been carelessly edited and published.
