Переклад з аркуша, також відомий як прима віста (prima vista), є одним з основних видів усного перекладу, разом з послідовним перекладом з нотатками або без них і синхронним перекладом в кабінці з опорою на текст оригіналу або без неї. Переклад з аркуша – це дихотомічний процес мовного переносу з мови оригіналу (МО) в мову перекладу (МП), а також з письмової форми в усну. Перекладач з аркуша не працює в кабінці і, як правило, не чує оригіналу. Перекладачеві надається текст оригіналу і від нього очікується миттєва та плавна передача його змісту зі швидкістю, характерною для природного усного мовлення.
