目次

解釈を基本とした翻訳理論 (The Interpretive Theory of Translation: ITT) は、優れた説明力を持つ一貫した理論体系であり、通訳と翻訳の双方における実践的経験に根差している。この理論は、(口頭および筆記による ) 翻訳プロセスについての探究の必要性に答えることと通訳・翻訳の技術を教育するための要求を満たすことの両面を目的とし、1960年代半ばに始まり、徐々に構築されてきた。
