The ingredients of style in contemporary illustration
A case study
Although widely used, the notion of style is as yet poorly defined in relation to illustration. The author discusses the concept of style and proposes seven variables which serve to provide an analytical framework for the characterisation and differentiation of styles in contemporary illustration.
