Reinardus
Yearbook of the International Reynard Society
Volume 3 (1990)
Editors
The aim of the International Reynard Society is to promote comparative research in the fields of medieval comic, satirical, didactic, and allegorical literature (with emphasis on beast epic, fable, and fabliau), including the study of sources, influences, and later developments into the modern period. This yearbook offers wide-ranging critical interpretations and the methods applied are diverse: discussion and the coexistence of conflicting views are considered more important than the defence of one specific methodological point of view.
