Expanding the field
New developments in Dutch bilingual education
This paper sketches the historic relationship between practice and academic interest in Dutch bilingual education,
from the perspective of policy-makers and practitioners. It highlights the recent developments in the field and offers suggestions
for future research that might support its further development.
