Les Déterminants Nominaux Aspectuels
French nouns like heure (hour), série (series) or soupçon (hint) can be described as nominal determiners in NI de N2 sequences, as in:
une heure de cheval (an hour's horse-riding)
une série d'interviews (a series of interviews)
un soupçon de jalousie (a hint of jalousy)
This article deals with the aspectual role of such nouns, in particular when combined with what we call "predicative nouns".
